Conscious Kid Coaching primarily works with children ages 6 to 13. These are foundational years for developing confidence, emotional resilience, and a healthy sense of self. That said, the approach can be adapted depending on your child's needs.
Yes. Coaching gives children practical tools to navigate everyday stress, worries, and big emotions. Kids learn how to calm their minds, shift unhelpful thoughts, and approach challenges with more confidence. While coaching is not a replacement for clinical treatment when needed, it's a powerful way to build emotional resilience and coping skills early on.
Sessions are available both in-person and online, depending on what works best for your family.
For families in the Miami Beach area, in-person sessions take place in the comfort of your home.
Virtual sessions are conducted over a secure platform from any part of the world and are just as engaging and effective - it helps kids feel comfortable opening up from their own environment.
Each session is about 1 hour and follows a flexible structure designed for connection and growth. A session might include:
• A check-in and grounding activity
• Interactive stories, games, activities, arts and crafts to bring the skills to life
• Guided conversation and reflection
• Learning or reviewing a mindset tool
• A wrap-up with preparation for real-life application
You'll receive regular updates so you always know what we're working on. The multi-session program also includes two parent consultations to discuss progress and how to support growth at home.
For younger children or those feeling nervous, a parent may join the beginning of the first session to help them settle in. After that, sessions are one-on-one so your child has space to open up and build a trusting relationship.
You'll stay closely involved through updates, emails, and check-in meetings - my goal is to support your child's independence while keeping you informed every step of the way.
The program is 14 sessions. This gives us time to build a strong relationship, introduce key tools, and support real shifts in how your child thinks, feels, and responds to challenges.
The program is tailored to your child's goals — whether that's managing worries, building confidence, handling peer pressure, navigating screen dependency, or developing focus and motivation.
After the 14 sessions, we'll decide together if continued support would be helpful. Some families choose to continue with occasional sessions for ongoing growth.
Of course! Vacations, holidays, and life's unexpected moments are all part of the journey. We can easily pause and resume sessions whenever your family is ready. Flexibility is built into the program so it works with your life, not against it.
Yes! Virtual sessions are available for families outside Miami Beach or those who prefer the flexibility of online coaching. Sessions are held on a secure platform and are just as interactive and personalized as in-person work. Many children feel especially comfortable in their own space, which often helps them open up even more.
